Let’s be honest: When you’re at Disney, snacking is an Olympic sport. But when you have food allergies? It’s more like… competitive survival.
But don’t worry—your fellow spoonie has got your back. I’ve got celiac disease and a list of diagnosis's longer than a CVS receipt, but somehow, I still manage to snack my way through the parks like it’s my full-time job.
So here it is: The Peachy Goat Guide to the Best Gluten-Free Snacks at Walt Disney World(I also included Dairy-Free & Nut-Free since I'm avoiding those currently as well).
First: Snack Survival Tips
1. Always double-check.
Even if it’s “usually safe,” ingredients and prep areas change often. Ask a Cast Member or chef if you’re unsure.
2. Use mobile order… carefully.
Many snacks show up under the “Allergy-Friendly” section, but not all do. If there’s no allergy option, order in person so you can speak to someone.
3. Keep emergency snacks in your bag.
Because “hangry and histaminey” is not a cute combo.

Magic Kingdom Snacks (GF + Allergy-Friendly)
🍦 Dole Whip – Adventureland
100% dairy-free, gluten-free, and iconic. Get the float if you’re feelin’ fancy.
Flavors vary: pineapple, orange, coconut, raspberry, watermelon (seasonal).
Can be found at Aloha Isle or Sunshine Tree Terrace.
🥕 Fresh Fruit & Pickles – Liberty Square Market
Allergy-friendly AND refreshing. Yes, I eat pickles like popsicles. I said it and I'm not soury. LOL!
🍟 French Fries (with dedicated fryer) – Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café, Columbia Harbour House, & Pinocchio Village Haus
Request them from the allergy menu. Cross-contamination? Not today, Satan.
🥤 LeFou’s Brew – Gaston’s Tavern

A treat you won’t believe is GF. Double-check flavors and nut content.
🥤 Frozen Slushies – France Pavilion kiosks
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions available. Just be careful with flavors and ingredients. Always ask a culinary cast member if you're unsure.
🧁 Seasonal Booth Treats – During Food & Wine/Festival of the Arts
Many booths clearly mark gluten-friendly or allergy-safe snacks. Check menus and talk to the booth chefs for ingredient details.

🌭 Allergy-Friendly Hot Dog – Fairfax Fare
Ask for GF bun and allergy-safe toppings.

🥭 Seasonal Fruit Bowls – Harambe Fruit Market

🌽 Grilled Corn on the Cob (without butter) – Harambe Market
Ask for it plain to keep it dairy-free if needed.

Bonus: Resort + Pre-Packaged Allergy Treats
🍪 Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC (Disney Springs)
THE holy grail of allergy-friendly sweets. Gluten-free, vegan, soy-free bakery with everything from cupcakes to donuts. Worst thing about this place, trying not to max out my credit card on such delicious treats.
🛍️ Goofy’s Candy Co. – Disney Springs
Some pre-packaged treats are allergy-friendly. Read labels or ask a Cast Member.
🧃 Resort Snacks
Most resorts carry Enjoy Life, Made Good, and other allergy-friendly brands in their gift shops or quick-service areas. If you don't see them, ask a cast member for help.
Final Thoughts:
Snacks at Disney should feel magical—not medical.
You can snack like a boss, even with dietary restrictions. It just takes a bit of planning, a lot of label-reading, and the courage to ask questions or say, “Actually, can I speak to the chef?”
